| Bangkok Pattaya Hospital (BHP) is the best equipped and staffed hospital in the area - although it is also considered to be the most expensive, it offers excellent medical care along with a discount on some items for PCEC members. It is located in North Pattaya on Sukhumvit Road. |
BHP has over 100 full time specialists and 400 beds, most in private rooms equipped with a refrigerator & microwave plus other amenities. It is accredited by the Joint Commission International. It offers a wide range of medical services including a heart center, complete with catheterization labs. Among BHP's specialties are a Dermatology and Cosmetic Center, a Brain and Neuroscience Center, and minimally invasive Spinal Surgery Center. The doctors and staff speak English with their International Department offering assistance in 20 other languages. This Department also assists with health insurance and other assistance required by International patients. Their Website has a "Find a Doctor" feature. If you don't know the doctor's name, select the specialty area from the drop down menu and a list of the doctors will appear - select a doctor to get information on their education and experience and available appointment times. PCEC members can show their Club membership card to the Cashier on their first visit to receive a discount for themselves or family. The membership information will be in the computer for future visits, but it is always possible the Cashier may ask to see your current PCEC membership card. There will be a 10% discount on Pharmaceutical items (excludes vaccination/special medicines) and on in-patient room rate (excludes ICU, CCU and NICU). Also, a 10% discount on dental fees for general dentistry (extraction, filling, dental scaling) and a 5% discount for prosthodontic treatment. The discount is for self pay only and cannot be used with personal health insurance or other promotional campaign, special discount etc. |

| Phayathai Sriracha Hospital, (PSH) is also located on Sukhumvit Road (Highway 3) but is about a 30 to 40 minute drive north of Pattaya City (in Sriracha). PSH's prices are generally lower than Bangkok Hospital Pattaya which makes it attractive for Expats residing in Pattaya. |
PSH also has several specialized medical centers including an Orthopedic Center (recommended by several PCEC members) and Heart Center. It also has a very good Dental Center and Check Up Center.

INTERNATIONAL SERVICES

Their International Service Center has native speakers in English, Russian, German, Chinese, Korean and Arabic languages. These translators are experienced in medical terms as many are ex nurses. Club members receive a 10% discount on medicines (inpatient and outpatient), main physical checkup (other than promotions), and diagnostic CT & MRI scans. |
