His story is a reminder that life rarely follows the script we imagine. Sometimes, the most extraordinary journeys begin when a 13-year-old boy boards a plane in Taiwan, leaves everything familiar behind, and dares to discover what lies beyond the horizon. At just 18, David contributed to the Space Shuttle program at NASA’s Johnson Space Center while studying computer science and music. At 23, David launched his own computer services company in Los Angeles, serving clients ranging from NASA’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory to major corporations and government institutions. He also founded a professional recording studio, working with producers associated with Michael Jackson, Janet Jackson, and Billy Joel. In 1982, David signed with PolyGram Records. His recording career produced four platinum albums and a No. 1 Chinese pop hit that remained at the top for 12 consecutive weeks. He subsequently helped bring major attractions—including the Harlem Globetrotters, Ice Capades, and NBA All-Stars—to China. A decade later, he founded Grasshopper Music in partnership with Sony Music. The company produced and released more than 20 albums by Asian and American artists, including New Age Grammy Award-winning artist Jamii Szmadzinski. He has also written influential books about music production and personal development, and taught digital production engineering at Kainan University in Taiwan. Now dividing his time between Taiwan and Thailand, David brings his extraordinary journey to Pattaya. Living in a foreign country is definitely not
the same as visiting it on holiday. There are many things you need to consider. 
During
the Open Forum at the Club meeting, which follows the speaker
presentation, members and guests can make announcements or ask questions
and receive answers about Expat living in Thailand, Pattaya in
particular.

addition to the weekly Meeting, the Club helps facilitate
various member organized activities such as special interest groups and
excursions that take place outside of the regular meetings offering the
opportunity to socialize and make friends with others that share a
